Let me tell you one thing first, I love old movies, and I love old movie stars.

 

There are many I like, and a few I adore, but Joan Blondell is among my top favorites. She was a very special person and human being. Not only on screen, but also in real life.

So, I decided she deserves a website. One just only about her. Dedicated to the person she was.

​

No one likes to read looooong biographies, nor filmographies, there are other pages or books which can serve that purpose.

​

This page is mainly an encyclopedia, but a personal one, filled with quotes and anecdotes, as I don't want it to be clinical. It is my website, so it got a personal touch, and I  guess I can't help but add my own five cents worth here and there as well.

I tried to research as thoroughly as possible, adding sources whenever I could. There's still a lot to read and see about Joan, so it will remain a work in progress.

My writing is not perfect, so I had a very dear soul doing proof reading and helping me with my texts. This person also inspired me every so often, so actually, this is not just MY site, this is OUR site, as we both love Joan.

Who are we? I guess, you can call us Nicole H. and G.T. Fletcher. These are of course fake names, but I doubt it doesn't matter. As long as you enjoy the website and Joan Blondell.
